Black & Green Friday
Hey guys, just thought I would share my black ( & green) Friday. Went to Dick's Sporting Goods this morning and picked up 5 Quantum Tour Editions ( the new chrome & carbon fiber ones) in 7.0:1 and 6.3:1.
After the shopping spree, we put the little boat in the water on Lake Erie, as the Ranger 520 has been been winterized already. We caught around 30 Largemouth in West Harbor, and had a blast. Had about a 13 lb. bag in the end, and had a couple of 3 pounders and a few 2's to round out the day. All of my fish were caught on the following setup: Rod: Quantum Superlite 6'9" MH Fast Reel: Quantum Tour Edition PT (TE100HPT) 7.0:1 Line: 20 lb. Sunline Super Natural Lure: Black Neon Big Bite YoMamma & Green Pumpkin/Junebug Netbait Mini B Bug both rigged on a 1/4 oz. Buckeye Lures Spot Remover Pro Model Enjoy the Pics... Ryan

Looks like a great day out! Nice snag on the reels too. I almost bought one today, seems like a lot of places are blowing out those Tour Edition reels. It was almost too cheap to pass up.

Nice day
What a great day! I'm Green with envy and Black with remorse for not being there.
Great job! |

That is an example of a great day! Beautiful bass. You don't hear much about largemouths from Erie over here. It's all smallies and walleyes. Those largemouths are nice fat chunks. Congrats bud.
