Default Fish Wear...

Since Michigan can have some unpredictable weather at times, I figure I need some 'fish wear'. In other words, something Gor-Tex, like the BPS 100 MPH Suit, or the Cabela's Gor-Tex Guidewear. I've decided on the Guidewear and will be getting it as soon as $400 comes my way. Anyone interested in volunteering?

Anyway, here's my plan. Insulated bibs since they cover most of your body, and an un-insulated parka since it's mainly an overocoat deal. The bibs will keep you warm on the frosty mornings, yet the parka will keep you covered, but not too hot. Here they are...

Parka:

Bibs:

Does anybody use any 'suits' like this? What do ya'll think?

i have the black bibs and red and black jacket shown here (had to get some to match my boat):

http://www.rangerwear.com/product/RB...Mens_Rain_Wear

they are both 120 mph and i really like them a lot. but usually i just wear the coat while i am running because i hate fishing in a coat. but when it is really cold i will wear it anyways. just take care of whatever you choose and keep hooks out of them!

For cold weather, I've got the Gander Mountain Guide Series Bibs and Wader Jacket. It's in a water foul pattern ,but who cares, it's warm. The jacket has two layers, an inner insulation layer I can use alone for colder days not in the winter, an outer waterproof layer which I can use as a rain jacket in the summer and such. then I can use them together as a winter coat. This summer I do want to get a Pair of Frogg Toggs for fishin gin the rain.

Zook, I got the 100mph jacket and wear it every year during March, April, and sometimes part of May. I hate being cold and wet. The jacket has held up very well and the Gore Tex seems to be ok after many, many, many washes. I just wish they made the jacket in black when I bought it. Instead, I had to settle for Navy blue. (all right, I am being a little girly on the color thing but I truly would have preferred just black)

Default Oh, Yeah!!!!

Oh, yeah! I am sooooo stoked right now! I just ordered my suit and it should be here right in time for Spring. I can't wait to fish the crap out of that pig!

The only bad part is I have to work off $479.66 toward dad...

-Lunk-

BTW... I ordered the Insulated Gor-Tex Bibs with the Uninsulated Gor-Tex Parka. It also came with a free Guidewear Tackle Bag worth $70, (or so claimed....). This should serve the purpose for my worm storage!
