Florida bass question!!!
My parents just bought a place in St. Augustine Shores, FL. I live in PA. I'll be going down there in the beginning of Sept. for a few days. I know all the top notch bodies of water that are close by, but the problem is....I won't have my boat. Does anyone have any advice on some places to go or perhaps some places to go where I can even rent a boat?

My dad is currently building a home there, actually just outside of St Augustine. Pretty neat little college town LOL. Anyway there are lots of guys to answer your quesdtion better since they live there, but find some canals, or drainage ponds, there are bass everywhere, If it has water it has bass. I think they even are in the toilets down in Florida. You won't be to far from Rodman reservoir, which unfortunately does not rent boats, but is supposed to be a fabulous trophy lake. Which is totally amazing to me. Anyway you can fish about anywhere and catch some bass. Just do an call before you go somewhere to make sure they do rent boats if you want to rent one. Just bring some black plastics, preferrably lizards.

Lizards pretty much nailed it. You can pretty much fish anywhere down here. Best thing to do is look up the local yellow pages on line and check for boat rentals. Fl is full of water, so boat rentals are readily avaliable. Drop a thread when you are heading down, possibly one of us can take you out.
