Default Bonito Bass Boat?

anthony and i went and looked at a bass boat today. its a bonito, with a front and rear deck a 48hp non tilt johnson and a trolling motor.a busted lowrance X25.

the floor is kinda soft so i have a feeling theres some bilge beer. I knocked and his wife came to the door, said he wasnt home and they were his to come back later. She let us look at it. Pretty decent looking overall, kinda faded red metalic flake paint, white under belly. Its last registration was for 2007 in GA. Theres an open v-hull fiberglass with a newer merc on the back registrated for sc in 09, so either he dosent wanna mess with it, or sell it. Were goin back to check it out later.

Just by my description, what do you think its worth?

good news.

http://www.dnr.sc.gov/boating/registration.html

i wont say anything to him about it, but if it dosent have a title,

Quote:
  1. Title in seller's name if seller is from a titling state.

georiga isnt a titling state, its just a registration state, meaning, you dont have to have a title for it, to have it in SC. Once its in my name, i can get a title for it

also, to register it, if i dont have a registration card, you can just give them the number

i finnaly caught him.

He said its his sons, whos depolyed in france and wants to sell it.

hes comming back the 13th, so to check back with him on the 14th and i left my number.

I told him i just restored a boat, and something broke on it, and we were looking for something that was in better condition than my other boat, and then i could work on it, drive it and still have my back burner project.

he said yeah, that 48 works good, and it needs seats, and i said yeah, it needs a floor, but i can do all that.

He said yeah, he wants to sell it. a while back he was lookin for 3,000. i was like yeah, i'm looking for a project that cost little, and i put money into, than put alot of start up money into and fix little. I can do the work, and i'd rather do work on it, then alot of work to buy it.

He said well, he'll be here round the 14th,so come back round then.

Its a T150 and had cinammaron or something on the little tag.
