I seem to recall fishing Lake (Press "Juan" for Eengleesh) "Whitehouse" circa the mid-Seventies. Small lake, but one of our members weighed a ten-fish limit for 54 pounds. Joe, (a high school classmate, BTW), caught them on Jig and Pork.
My guess is that the lake has been taken over by you-know-whom and that they've kept everything they've caught while littering the place with beer cans and dirty diapers. Hope I'm wrong.
I tried a quick web search, even the City of Laredo site (goofiest site in the world...click on Parks and Recreation, you'll see.) No luck.

your right, unfortunately, my lake is polluted and overrun by "you know whom," it is very difficult to catch anything now.... by the way, all the rain, I know in the dessert right...., has filled the lake generously and is now flooding camp grounds and picnic areas.
