April showers bring.....March flowers???
A little confusing but here's what I've been seeing in my yard.
Although VA is considered the south we just aren't used to seeing this in late Feb and early March......Roses should be out in the next two weeks if the weather stay warm. |

Same thing over here in Indiana. Seems everything is popping into bloom. Lilacs don't usually bloom untill the week before Mothers Day here, and even they are beginning to bloom already. Nice pics by the way.

Cell phone can take some decent pics but nothing like a good camera....my old Pentax does well but not digital so I don't use it much anymore. Probably should have picked up some Kodak film before they went out of business.
For new members to Bassfishin it's ok to post pics of plants, gardens, flowers, etc. That's if you're man enough........ |

Planted corn, squash - winter and summer, cucumber, pepper, eggplant, cabbage and tomato over the weekend. Already have potato, peas, and lettuce growing. Got to put some onion in today.
Family was visiting over the weekend so I got some help. They also brought hosta, azalea, and hydrangea for me to transplant. Working on getting some rhubarb that my grandfather planted back in the 1950's and is still growing. It's been transplanted from his garden in PA to the house where I grew up in VA to my father's garden in MA and my sister has some growing in VA now. |
