When im fishing a tiki-stick I like a slow presentation near the bottom with small jerks on the bait. Another retrieve I have found that works is a fast retrieve with occasional pauses . When you pause the bait bass almost run right into it. Good luck.

I seem to catch more just deadsticking it. Just let it sit.

Occasionally, but usually if they don't hit it on the initial fall I reel it in and cast it again. One modification I have been using lately is to put a small finishing nail in each end to help it sink a little faster. Seems to make a difference.

I was on another thread and a guy prefurred a senko because they sink faster,he didn't like putting nails in his worms.I'll stick with a tiki stick and nails.

I like a slow twitch. Occasionally, I drag it on the bottom, and I think it resembles a crawfish.

i like to let it fall and sit for a bit then hard jerk it off hte bottom (how hard depends on how deep i'm fishing it. - if it's in 1 foot of water i'll get it back up close to teh surface and pull it about 3 -4 feet forward let it fall again. if i'm in 3-4 feet i'll jerk it about 2 feet and let it fall again...especially if i'm near or in a weed/ grass bed

I throw it out and deadstick it for a while and then slowly pull it up by raising my rod a little and then let it fall again and repeat. I also twitch it along softly, usually higher in the water column.
