Small boats
I fish a lot of ponds and small lakes that are too small to use a full size boat. I am wanting to get a smaller boat. Do you guys think I should get a small john boat or a boat like the a pond prowler? I will probably just put a troller on it.

I'm a big fan of the BassHunter products. The original BH came out back in the late 80ties I believe. Since then, alot of other folks have tried to copy it, but they are not constructed as well in my opinion. I have had three BassHunters over the years, and I would recommend them, over the pond prowler. I bought my last one, a 2 man 9 footer for just under 400.00 with the shipping. Just type in Bass Hunter in any search engine and you will find it. They are almost unsinkable, the only way you could sink one would be to drop a volkswagon on it.....

any 9 or 10 foot boat should work fine.

Get the biggest boat you can handle comfortably on you're own, in case you want to take it out by yourself, (most likely a 9 or 10 footer). Again the BH will be the best choice for safty reasons due to its construction and stability in the water. Be Carefull when you go out on your own and always wear youre PFD if you're moving or even when sitting in deep water.
