Default vaporizers

I'm planning to by a vaporizer for my bedroom to combat this dry air that winter brings. I'm hoping it will help me to breath a little bit easier and not find myself in the middle of the night with dry nose, throat, and sinuses. I don't know if anyone in here has any experience with one of these vaporizers or not. But, I'm trying to decide between a cold air vaporizer, and a warm air vaporizer. Not sure of the advantages of either. Any suggestions?

Only suggestion is to use the word humidifier when buying one, vaporizers are used to get the thc out of marijuana. Beyond that the cold air ones don't make it feel like south florida in the house, but thats a matter of preference

Keithdog, personally I like the warm ones. The cold ones do tend to make my room a little chilly. I can remember when I was a kid my mother used to run them when we were sick. She used to put Vicks Vapor rub in it.

Vaporizers are used most often for infants and children for inhalation therapy (most often with colds and flu) ... and yes, Vicks vabor rub works great in there! - actually, I think Vicks even markets one of their own now with vapor sheets instead of water.
Anyways Kieth, you might try a vaporizer, but as pointed out, a humidifier somewhere in your house would be even better to get the moisture levels up some - after all, you're breathing there even when yer not sleepin.
(It's almost amazing how dry a house can get in winter - Abbeys aquarium looses so much water in the winter you'd almost thunk it had a leak.)
