Default We're back!

BEST fishing outing I have ever had , enjoyed everyone and every moment of the campfires and Lisa and Johns Fish fry.
Btw, we all discovered a great new lure for shallow water flooded lakes

I'll let the gang explain Rofl

100% true! the car was actually white and was driven off a flooded road at the marina and ended up getting stuck in a culvert that was waist deep with lake water. after denny, jb, zooker, and i helped get the car out there was a big bluegill hanging out of the grill of the car. funniest thing i have ever see.

i forgot to add that shortly after that zooker ripped the seat out of his pants, maybe the second funniest thing i have ever seen. and jim we actually intended on getting a few pics and then just really forgot. but i am sure that pictures wouldn't have done the situation the justice it deserves anyways.

JB - Thanks for the PM and I'm glad the skirts worked well. Just help me with the pic posted above. That's one strange looking spinnerbait hanging out of that fishes mouth.

yes gang, the mrs and i are back home now. starting to feel lonely too. we had the BEST TIME EVER! this years event was as good or even better than the first.
truly wish everyone could have benn there. we said an open prayer for our members here that are in need of them. and want them to know it first and formost. sherrie, hoseman, dirk and anyone i missed, we thought of you guys even as we were having the time of our lives. hopefully, next time. and to the rest of you out there, keep the prayers coming for them ok?
now, for the stories huh? well, i for one am really tired, lmao. i am having trouble seeing this screen right now, hahaha. but i too will let some of the others start with the stories. there were a lot of them gang. woody fell outta his rig out there on the water. lost his cell and ruined his camera. then his troller gave out and he had to buy anotehr one....which i still want, hahahaha. mississippigal caught the second largest bass, 3#11ounces. and also hooked herself. a nice trip to the emergency room. but i am here to tell ya'll, sh was back out on the water within 2 hrs ready and rarring to go. fished like a true champ. i'll let her worst half and the fella that actually hooked her tell that one in detail.hehehe. then kevin himself was locked outta his upgrade, key wouldn't work. had to break into his own townhouse. hahahaha, got a few pics of that too. hahahahaha. and me.............. well, i was so busy catching oak, pine and dogwood, and every other kind of tree there, that i didn't catch any keepers. also lost half of the jigs i bought there form c-rig and bigbassing144, hahahahaha. along with a brand spanking new rattle trap on it's maiden cast, hahahaha. man ya'll should've seen how it skipped across that lake. hahahaha. and there are many, many other stories to come. i can't get them all in my head right now.
but i will and AM gonna say this. lisa and i truly had a fantastic time meeting and talking to each and every one that were able to attend, even if for only a little while. we all talk or chat or whatever you want to call it here online. and we "think" that the folks here are nice, but when you actually MEET in person, face to face, and then get to chat and talk, THEN YOU TRULY realize how nice and personable everyone truly is. i have said it before and i'll say it again. i have NEVER had as good or as close a set ofr friends as i have here. that goes for everyone, yes.... even you sasquatch, roflmao, everyone at the event was so very kind and friendly and just like they are here on the boards. i just hope that all ya'll liked us as much as we enjoyed all of you. when someone had a problem, we all chipped in and helped to get it all fixed. it was great. truly great. too much food like we thought we would have anyway, but it was great to have too much than not enough, right? thought so, hahahaha. i am gonna end it here and let the rest go at it and see what i missed, and the i'll go again.
thanks gang for a fantastic time.
