Christmas List
Christmas is about one month away. Notwithstanding the piss poor economy and our wishes for world peace, lets be somewhat self-indulgent for a moment and write our Christmas list . . .

My wish list is as follows:
Daiwa Crazy Cranker Reel Shimano Chronarch MG (they are being discontinued so gotta' get them now because they will soon be "extinct") Kistler 6'6" composite crankbait rod (I already have one but it wouldn't hurt to have another. Similar to my love of the Chronarch Mgs, if you find something you like, you gotta' stick with em') Some crankbaits . . . gotta give this more thought. |

Same reel was Wishing, and a crankbait rod, haven't picked one out yet.
OR Some stuff to start making lures: lead melter, a couple molds, skirt material for maybe jigs or spinnerbaits, hooks, etc. BB

BB, I hope Santa brings us those Crazy Cranker reels. Let me know if you get one. We can then "compare notes".

Hey guys... I actually just got a Daiwa Crazy Cranker. You guys will see me talking about it in some videos fairly soon I'm sure. The thing is brilliant. I'd definitely recommend putting this on your wish list.

You guys better grab the Chronarchs quick, they were on sale last weekend for $189 at Cabelas. I might go back for some, but I just got a Curado instead.
Since it is a "wish list" how about a Daiwa Pixy Airy Red. Might as well put that on a 6'8" Castaway Skeleton Titanium rod, just because I would like to try one. Maybe even a rod building setup, since I really haven't found any rods exactly like I want. |

The Dow is under 8000. People are freaking. This is going to be the worst Christmas retail has ever seen.
Bass Pro Shops is going to offer the mother of after Christmas sales this year. Chronarchs are going to be $100 at this rate.

Since it's a wish list,... I would like to have a 54" Sony LCD wide screen, Oh yeah! And a new computer, ours is over 4 years old.
One thing I wont be asking for is any stock in General Motors. |

I dunno, woody...their stock was what, $100 or so a while back? Now it's $1? It's on sale...if you buy some now, and either the gov't bails them out () or they figure out what to do to turn themselves around, their stock prices go back up. Maybe not to $100, but even to $10 or $20, and suddenly, you can sell it for 10x or 20x what you bought it for.
I'd hit that. |

W2BF, you know my Christmas presents arrived yeserday. Six new Kistler Helium LTA's. Now I hope Spring arrives early. Spend that C-note yet? And as far as a deep crankin' reel, I think I'd prefer the REVO Winch for just a little less money - that is if you could get me to change off of my Pfluegers - NOT.

What I would really like is one of bb144 fishing rod cabinets.

I just amended my wish list to include this rod:
http://www2.jackall.co.jp/HERITAGE/index.html Alas, my search for the perfect composite crankbait rod appears to be over. This rod is 49% graphite and 51% glass. I don't own any "enthusiast high-end rods" so perhaps this will be a first if Mrs. Claus comes through. |
