Default Not a bad morning.

I hate being cold. It was 28 degrees when I scraped ice off my truck windows to go fishing this morning. Tried several techniques before settling on a crankbait which was all the bass seemed to want today. First fish in the boat was about 9 am. Caught maybe 7 or 8. Kept two for filets for dinner. Big fish of the day was 4 pounds & 1 ounce per my digital scales. Overall a fun morning.

that is jsut great fred! i THOUGHT about going to day myself. but looked at the forcast and decided that getting all my gear in the boat and then back OUT of the boat wasn't a good idea. after all the training over the last week, i am TIRED. been napping most of the day. lol.

I fish from a jon boat and do not have a thermometer but assuming the air temperature this morning might have been 35 when I first got on the water, the water did not feel much warmer than the air.
