Finally, a big bass on the fly this year!
Figures ... on a day I was specifically targeting sunfish, with a 5'6" 4 weight rod and an inch long "fluffy minnow" ...

So that is a northern LGMouth. Do you ever catch Florida strains?

Sorry ... not a fish expert. Large Mouth is Large Mouth as far as I am concerned. I wouldn't know a Northern strain from a Florida strain. I also didn't know there would be pure breed anything down here in Florida.
