Default 24V Question

I'm fixin to upgrade to a 24V TM. Can I hook my depthfinder, bilge etc to the terminals of one of the batteries or what? **since almost every place I fish is electric only I have no need for an outboard, so I'm just dealing with two big deep cycles**

Follow up query....I've decided I definately want variable speed ......do any of yall have strong preferences or pros/cons between MK Maxxum and MG Tour (aside from the whole Ford/Chevy type of opinions)? fwiw I've never owned a MK in fourty years+ but I'm not married to them, just wondering if I could ever get used to the pedal?

Follow up 2....I've got a high end portable charger (micro processor-3 stage etc) now. Can I use it by hooking to pos of one battery and neg to the other battery (like I do now for charging two 12's in parallel) or do I need a 2 bank charger?

Follow up 3...I fish lots of skinny water and with my current MG I can loosen the nut and lift the tm shaft all the way up......looking at the MK I don't see a nut to loosen.....if the depth of the MK is not easily adjustable that might be a deal breaker?
