Love to fish there but only in club tournaments. Usually in June. Great lake for floating worms, topwater, and spinnerbaits (for me). Horny toad is sweet over grass too. There are a couple tricks/secrets that you'll have to learn on the lake . It can also give up some nice pigs too (see my profile photo).

i was thinking of fishing the tern's out of eagles landing when i get a chance just didn't know how good they are

12-16lbs usually will put you in the money out of Eagles.

Did they ever fix the dam? I haven't been up that far in a while. Might go Sun. afternoon from the dam but I'll fish the river. I haven't fish the lake since I was a teenager. The lake is full of snot grass!!!

Can't fish heavy weight in less than 4' of water or you'll get "snot" all over your baits. I mean 1/8th or heavier. Floating worms, senko's, etc work well if you don't let them settle on the bottom in the skinny water.
