my first bass of the year
http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?i...h2006381uv.jpg
got my first bass of the year tonight with a spinnerbait my friend made for me.it was raining tonight when my buddy pete and i fished from 5:30 to 7:45 pm.up here in ny fishing in the evening is not the best time to go at this time of year but it's the only time i have so i make the best of it.the bass was shallow even though the water is still really cold.this time of year is very hit and miss up north so i'm happy with tonights catch.

That's a nice NY bass! Great way to start the year! The bass up there should really start to turn on up there. The spawn is over with, or just about over with down here in Tennessee, Now it's your turn to go for the trophies!

Live Up here in Michigan we also have closed Bass Season (Winter) but most of us Michiganders that fish get out on the water just as soon as we can.
I just retired and moved North. now I wish I went south to Tennessee where the fishing is almost all year long... |
