new jersey taxes are about as high as you can get...the gov.can't tax anything new...IT'S ALL TAXED ALREADY!!!..5 BILLION DOLLAR deficit...i don't think the idea of cutting spending has entered his mind yet(democrat)...
then he's wondering why people and businesses are leaving jersey in droves.
my blood pressure just shot sky high thinking about it..thanks a lot..i need a drink

And yet people vote year in and year out that they arent being taxed enough....why can't we get together on this and not only say "no more" to new taxation, but to get rid of most of what taxation there already is? Think about it, how much does the government do with that huge chunk of change that it takes out of your check that you actually need?

Basically there exists a huge industry in the US that gets its lifeblood off of defrauding taxpayers. We finance legions of buerocrats, and what do these scum-sucking jerks do for us?

Tom, pass the Grey Goose!

no one ever votes to have more taxes willy,

they vote for community/state/federal programs or improvements that come eventually come out of your pocket in the form of taxes and mostly property taxes

JB, the damned politicians can always come up with "improvements" cause it increases their power over us. All the "improvements" which our tax money currently finances really don't improve that much, or at bare minimum we don't ever get our money's worth cause it is 100% impossible to hold government officials responsible for what they do with each dollar. Its a spoils system. They get elected, try to convince us to allow them to impose all these damn programs which really dont do much upon us cause they can filter off a little here and a little there by bribes and kickbacks. I know, I know, I sound really pessimistic...but its the truth.

We must have the law. So we have to have Government. It is a social contract where we agree to be bound by the rules of the state so that the state may serve as final arbitor in all disputes of law. Government gives liberty, but only when it is properly limited. In America, limited government passed into history along with the frontier and the buffalo. Yea, yea, its better than canada. Big whoop.

President Bush just signed a 70 billion dollar tax cut...

Average middle-class family gets a cut of around $112... average $1,000,000 + earner, $70,000

Hhmm.

Fastlazer, don't ask what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.....which is pay more taxes so others can ask for their handouts.

Yep. It sucks.
