Default I win the dumb@$$ award

Somehow this past week, I managed to lose a lot of plastics. I sort my plastics by type and keep the indiviual packs in 1 gallon zip locks.
After purchasing a new tackle bag this weekend I wanted to organize all of my gear.
I can not locate the bag marked frogs and creatures which was full of IKA's, lizzards, and craws, and of course frogs. Another bag was marked worms and was full of everything from 4 inch speed worms upto 16 inch worms. The third bag was marked senko and I could barely close it.
My quick math guesses that my idiot self can not find at least $400 in plastics. I have not explained the cost to my bride, she can not understand why I decided to clean out the garage for no particular reason tonight.
I have also walked the every inch of shore line on the two ponds I fish the most often and have posted signs and offered an award.
Just wanted to voice my frustration at people who would understand the loss.

that does suck. i bet they turn up though, but probably after you go and buy all new stuff. the monkey probably hid them and will return them after you spend the dough.

I am afraid that I left them at one of the ponds. On Thursday I was giving a couple of baits to some guys who were just getting started. I am hoping that they have the bags and I run into them this week.
On a bright note, the garage looks darn good now

Wow! That really sucks Cass!

Two times before I've forgot my tackle bag at a pond at a park, and both times when I went back to see if it was there the next day, it was still there and nothing was missing from it, I've been REALLY lucky these last few times, hopefully my luck wont run out any time soon!

Hope you find them soon!

I hope you stuff turns up like my bag of plastics did. I felt like a complete idiot when I finally found them. I have a fridge in the garage and I put them in the crisper drawers because the garage gets too hot during the summer.

Cass I always let my wife put stuff up, because I can never remember where I put it. That sucks though dude, I hope they turn up or in the hands of good people if they were picked up.

Wow that's horrid man.

Do the old tony tony turn around trick..

Say "tony tony turn around, tony tony something to be found " and turn around 3 times. Then go look for them. I know guys sounds weird but you'd be amazed at the **** I've lost and found using that trick. A diamond in the yard that fell out of my aunts ring. A gold coin that belonged to an uncle. A watch of my mom's. Not to mention the most important thing. The remote control.

Gluck hope it works out.

That is a serious bummer cass. Is there anywhere you could post a "lost" sign? Like a nearby bait shop maybe? While a giant percentage of the population nowadays would never return it, there are still some honest people out there and I like to think that number improves among kindred spirits. Maybe add on the sign "FREE BEER!"
Also, have you called the local cops? Someone might have turned it in.

That'll give ya a sick feelin in the pit of your stomic fast. I know becasue I lost a new casting outfit overboard last year while out fishing. It was a new Revo and BPS ProQualifyer combo. Didn't realize it had fallen out untill I went to cast with it towards the end of a day on the lake.

I have posted on a local forum and a left signs at the pond where I most likely lost the worms. The pond is on a Marine Corps base, so the integrity thing may assist. I offered a reward if they turn back up.

At least you have the other two bags of plastics. Could you imagine if you lost all 3 bags. The thought of losing my tackle brings chills to my spine. Nope, I don't even want to think about it.

Sadly, I did lose all three bags.
The base pond's lost and found is run by me, so no joy there either. I just keep going down there everyday and talking to folks. Time will tell
