Default Hardbait Line

I've been fishing all my shallow crankbaits and topwaters on a medium baitcaster and i use 12 lb spiderwire but i dont know if im happy with this line. I was wondering what line yall would recommend in 12 lb test.

Zook, i was actually lookin at ande on the BPS website, it seems to be reasonably priced. Might have to pick me up a spool. Do you use back country, premium, or tournament.

back country i love it in the clear water of badin or the unreal clarity of lake james..

now belive it or not i can NOT tell the differance between the two they handle so completely alike. tournament is the ifga line-a certified line.

one thing i do recomend is to buy the 1/2 pound spools. they kink less and are easier to use than the 1/4 pound spools. i belive the 1/2 pound spools are round $17. i go thru one spool in an entire year. i think there is 2000 feet on a 1/2 pound spool..
i also have an 8 pound test 3 pound spool i have been working on for 5 years..

I like ande, it's good line.

But Silver Thread is betta!

Bottom line, if you are fishing braid on a crank, stop that, and get some mono

P-line premium, or dura-tuff (stren I think). P-line is a little stretchy but as long as you don't make extremely long cast it isn't a problem. The dura-tuff is big games competiter and is wirey and abrasion resistant.
