i saw that thing on T.V. just trying to ruin fishing, now even it has to go small, easy, and of course you work less, wow just the American way. Lazy!

Ha ha, this must be what my neighbor was telling me about. She said it was a pen that you fished with, and I looked at her like she was crazy.

By the way, who in the world would buy this? And I can't believe Coleman would even associate themselves with such a gimmick.

the sad thing is that coleman is the one that bought out pure fishing...berkley, stren, abu garcia etc. so id hate to see what coleman has planned for the demise of these companies.

I know that I am going to get some heat for this but . . . I kinda' think the fish pen may be a good idea. Think about it, with the fish pen, you will never be empty handed when you drive by that pond on the way home from work. Or if you go on vacation, you could put it in your case and your wife will never know that you brought a fishin' rod. Come to think of it, you could fish from your desk while you write out your bills. Better yet, you will always be able to revisit the "ultra-lite" fad from the 80s each and everytime you use the fishing pen. And, the best feature is the clip that can be used to hold your line and hook. Oh, and if you like this product, you should check out the tackle box stapler. Great storage on the inside to hold all your tackle.

This is just another piece of crap. I see it this way. If I think I may want to go fishing I'll put some rods in the car. Also in my experience with telescopic rods I have found that they, for the most part, do not last for any period of time. This is a big gimmick. Ok I'm done now. lol

I have a Hank Parker Vampire lure for sale if anyone is interested (it's in almost new condition). I'll start the bidding at $50.

I saw this on TV as well, i seriously question its durability. I wouldnt buy such a thing... i keep a 2 piece rod in the truck for whenever i see a pond i wanna fish, no need to sacrifice power and strength of the rod for convenient fishing. i dont have to bring back the 'ultra-light' fad or anything, just good ole bass fishing, 6'6" rod and a sturdy abu garcia spinning reel rigged up with some powerpro. no need to worry about the next hawg i catch breaking the line... or in this case the pole.

They do come up with alot of crap, however I did buy my 3 year old the rocket fishing pole, I found it on sale for just under $20, and it was worth every penny. I dont know many 3 year olds that will sit on a boat for just about five hours fishing with his dad. It was great.
