It's pretty simple Keith. We'll get a list of names together and I will have 2 hats, both hats will have the entire list of names. I will draw a name for every person on the list. I will then PM you the name and address of the person you are to buy for, someone will in turn have your name. You will buy your person a gift in the $20 range and send it to that person, as secretively as possible. Everyone will send a gift and receive a gift. The gift you receive likely won't be from the same person you send yours too.

I would like to have all the names by next Wednesday. I will draw the names and we will set a reasonable time frame to get your gifts purchased and sent.

There really aren't any limitations on what the gifts can be, just try to make it something cool. In other words, don't raid the clearance aisle at Walmart. You can even go back and read some of your recipient's posts to get ideas.

If you choose to buy your gift online, you can have it shipped directly to your recipient to avoid paying double shipping.

Participants should have a minimum of 100 posts.

Hopefully that all made sense and I didn't leave anything out. Just have fun with it.

So far I have Tavery and Bcklash on the list. I will only participate if we have an odd number of people.

The hat thing might be a bit time consuming although more fun to do.

Another way to do it is to place everyone on a list and everyone on that list would give a gift to the person on the list below them with the exception of the last person on the list. He or she would give to the first person on the list.

It would also work even if there is an odd number of people participating. Just a thought.

That's a very good idea! You're right, an even number of people would only be necessary if it were a straight gift exchange, doing it this way, it doesn't matter. I will make sure that I generate the list randomly. Thanks for your input Alex, hope you decide to participate.
