This is a BassinBandit special.
Just like BB said, throw it the locker and cut it out when you get home.

I've seen that a few more times than I'd like to admit. It's a good project for when your sitting next to the grill this weekend.

Well, as your moniker is "bcklash" I'd think you'd have come across a solution by now. Y'know, all that practice and all. It really doesn't look all that bad - it coulda been braid. You could use the NFE method, throw the reel away and buy a NEW ONE, and some line, maybe a new rod to go along with it................

Tie it off at the end of the rod. You now have a short, counterbalanced cane pole.

Sometimes if you cut through a few of the loops you can get rid of the nest. You might lose 20 ft or so of line, maybe less but it comes apart pretty good. If you need the reel and can't wait till you have the time to pick it out, that is.
