Powell makes a great rod, that's what I would pick.

I think I'd snag the LC crankbait rod, with an MSRP for 350, I think that'll be the best deal.

I'd skip the mojo, I doubt it'll stand much of a fair fight against the powell and the LC.

I went with the 703cb I hope I made a good choice as I will be using it for cranks such as the bandit 200 and such cranks that run from 3 to 10 feet. I went with it because of the reviews and the price 121.00 from TW.

In your initial post about deep divers, I had assumed big cranks like a DD22 or Little John DD.

The 704CB should be exactly what you need for cranks from 1/4-3/8oz in the 3-10' range. Powell makes a good rod, and would be one of my top choices in their price range. I'm sure you'll love it, and congrats on the good deal!

I did look hard at the 704cb but went with the 703cb-glass hope I made a good choice I like to fish bandit 200 and 300 and bomber Model As, and Fat As, and fat free shad type baits anywhere from 3 to 10 ft.

Lol, I must not have read your post on the 703, only the first on the 704. You should be good with the 703CB-Glass as well. It will also handle heavier baits than the 704CB if you need it to.

I have a Powell 704cb and it's not bad of a rod. I use mine for just traps, mainly the 1/2 oz Red Eyes and have not had a problem.

Called Powell and they said the 703cb glass is great for what I want to fish and that I can also fish bigger and deeper runners also. Nice people to.
