Red face What did I do wrong?

Last monthI saw a 5lb large mouth bass @ Chollas Lake and casted my line out to it but it wasn't biting the lure also it was in like 10inches to 2 feet of water and my freind wads trying to catch it but it wasn't even biting we need HELP Please

GOOD LUCK!!! Your number one problem is, he probably saw you. And if they see you they aren't goint to hit anything. At least I have never had any luck when I know the bass has seen me. What you need to do is approach the area that you saw him and not get too close, then cast over to where he is.

when the bass are like that i try to stay further back and make long accurate casts to the area where i saw the fish.

i make a cast past the bass,and then shake the lure in its face.
