Default Second Convict Bass Dawn Patrol

Left to an awesome sunrise and 20 mph winds that chilled the persimmons good. Started at Little Hunting Creek with no hits. Moved south to Mount Vernon pier and still no love...got to thinking about last dawn patrol and all I caught was big LGMouth..
Determined to not repeat that trip we moved down the Ft Belvoir wall and once again the carp where all fired up..I swear I saw bait jump as the big carp hit the surface. Awesome sight. Bob was impressed with the carp.
Well we found our target fish and they liked the 6 foot edge into 30 plus feet. None over 20 inches but it was nice to have some pullage.

Really? I am dying to see pictures of these "convict bass". You caught some and you don't have pictures?

Too darn busy catching..

It was short 4 hours of 20 mph winds this morning. High temp today was 51 degrees.

Half on a YoZuri wind cheater and the other half on a big Storm swim shad.

So, I am just assuming that you're talking about Striped Bass.
