At what tempature should I start fishing swimbaits?

Any time will work, in the cold water you might not get very many bites, but if you get a bite it might be the fish of a lifetime. Colder the water, slower the retrieve has been my experience so far, though I still consider myself as a novice at swimbaiting.

i really have not had any luck with swimbait here in pa. on bass..so, i dont use them and to be truftul,i dont know of anyone in our bass clubs that use them..

I'll start them up about the time the water in the late winter/early spring starts holding over 45 degrees through the overnights. I'll fish them on into May and June before I totally switch off of them. Fish them slow for starters, and the fish will let you know if you need to adjust.
