Cold Front
Just wanted to know what techniques you all like to use during a cold front in the Spring?

Slow presentations, like deadsticking a worm have worked for me before.

a cold front has always been my biggest problem, not just in the spring but year round. i could be on fish in a strong pattern and a cold front would make it miserable. not sure if i tend to fish right over them or if they aren't there at all but my bites just go way down in a cold front. one thing that i have always heard and it seems to be true...in a cold front, fish will hold tight to cover. so i try to slow down and hit every piece of cover several times from several angles, and do it with slow baits. deadsticking like was mentioned is a good idea. like i said, i am not great a catching fish in a cold front but this has really helped me out 100%.

Not saying I've been consistently successful with it, but I actually speed up with a rattle trap. I will downsize to a 1/4 oz however.
