This includes boat , gas motor , trailer in the price. Look around and price a new motor and the cost to have it installed. It isn't that great of a deal. http://www.nadaguides.com/Values/Val...del=1600016725

Yes that is a decent deal, but I think 100-175 hp motor is a little big for that boat.

You may have a hard time finding insurance with a motor larger than 90. But thats your choice.

The bass cat is a superb built boat. Dont know what year boat you looking at but I can tell ya dont over power for several reasons. Insurance is just one of them. A overpowered 15ft boat is kinda like playing russian roulette. You might get away with it today but if you havent run high performance boats before sooner or later your gonna get the dry side wet. In other words a wreck is in your future. I have been running high performance bass boats for several years and also play with racing hulls and I gotta tell ya that overpowered short hulls are the most unforgiving hulls on the water. If you get the boat stick with a 90 Merc or Omc or whatever brand you like. You'll get the most contollable performance with that hp.

I am with 1FastLaser that is to much power for that small of a boat. I have a 19ft Basscat with a 200hp and that gets that boat moving pretty good. 90 hp would be plenty for that boat. Sounds like a good deal though depending on the shape and the year.

Bass Kicker
What year is this hull. You may have found a pretty da@@ good deal depending on what year the hull and what kinda shape she is in. There are tons of 115's avaiable out there that you can get a some REAL good prices. If you want to pursue this give me a holler and I can get you some hard dollar prices on New engines with full warraties at prices you will be pleased with. Or if you really want to save some bucks I gotta few connections that I can contact and you get rebuilt units. Give me a holler ifn your interested.
