Boerne City Lake 5-27-10
Fished BCL just north of San Antonio, ended up with two keeper largemouth on senkos fished off the dam, and also somehow managed a big white bass on a texas rig... Its starting to heat up on this lake. Also saw four stupid kids get arrested for drinking a bottle of Vodka and paddling a blow up dinghy. Its ashame that more and more of these people are starting to show up and screw everything up for everyone else.

Congratz on the fish and you're right there's alot of stupid people doing alot of stupid things.....sometimes with tragic consequences. This past weekend a man with four passengers was traveling at high speed after dark on the river near my house. He had no lights and wasn't familiar with the water....the result was he hit a pile of rocks....all passengers were thrown from the boat and injured while the driver didn't make it. Such a waste

Bama, the nice thing about Boerne is there are no gas engines allowed, so no lake lice. That is the lake Lancer6 and I fish during the summer 99% of the time. It has become my father-in-law's favorite lake, too. Nice ramp and small enough to fish the whole thing with a 24V TM. Launch, drop the TM and start fishing. Has some good fish in it, too.

Its a very nice lake, but ive had some serious trouble trying to figure it out. I usually catch a few dinks and a couple keepers, but nothing of any big size. I know their in there, but where should i fish?
