Default Big Reds

Spent three days down at Lynnhaven Inlet attempting to get some speckled trout.. only caught a few very small ones. The puppy drum where very thick and fun on light tackle. Lost count the first day on purple tail puppy drum. On day 2 we could not find any fish that measured so we packed up and ran to CBBT. Glad we did as we hooked up on 12 bull red drum and landed 10.
Here are some pics.

Today we cast around CBBT and had a blast with blues and sea bass.
Got some croaker also today.

Some absolute HAWGS. I haven't seen reds like that since surf fishing at Ponce Inlet (unfortunately, caught by other people ).

The big croaker was 19.5 inches long and Steve took it home. I smoked up the 10 blues and the sea bass last night with a bit of Tony Cacheres on top. Darn good eatin.. and we have fish tacos for tonight now.
