Going Fishing after a long rain.
Here in IL it has rained for about the last day and a half and is still just misting alittle bit. Does this have an adverse effect on the bass? Or are they just as proned to bite now as they were a couple days before? What do ya think fellas?

I say go fishing, and let us know. If the water is rising, the fish will be at the shoreline, looking for all the new food and areas they haven't seen. If it's falling they will back off of the shore. Good fishing.

well of course I did go anyways and the water temp had dropped 8 degrees in 2 days from 82-74 but the bite was great. Especially on the Ole Bronze Eye Frog. The surface strikes were just vicious. Only thing though is that the frog kind of has a poor catching % even with the wait 2 seconds before jerking technique. Over all though I would say that the rain didn't have a bad effect at all.

I have had some of my greatest fishing experiences in the rain. And it usually keeps everyone else away from the lake........so I can have it all to myself
