blue fleck orange bottom cranks any color. That is it.. Use you color combo selector (as seen on TV) and it will show purple or blue.. Capt Mike

For me right now I'm catching them on all colors. Four different craws, three different jigs, four different toads, and one ugly floating worm. Not to mention chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and crankbaits. Only thing I can't get them on right now is poppers. Very strange but true. Going to upsize my plastics this week and see if they want some bigger baits.

In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, many lakes take on this tanic color of which you describe. When you're on plane on the boat, the water in your prop wash is a real yellowish-brown color, aka "Iced Tea".
Last year during our annual trip up there, orange-bellied cranks, firetiger, craw, and brown color seemed to work best, with a little purple and dark red mixed in. Cranks really seemed the way to go in those type of lakes... |

Sweet. Thanks guys. It seems waters north of here (especially in Canada) have this water color.
