I perfer tikis over senko's because they last longer. But I have had more luck rigging the tikis and senkos wacky style. But I have had some good luck fishing the tube weightless in waters as deep as 6 foot......................

I rig both Senkos and tubes Texposed, the Senko weightless and the tube with an internal weight of 1/16 or 1/8. I use both in relatively shallow water. The Senko I just let sink without imparting any additional action. The tube I fish similarly, but with a somewhat faster lift-and-drop retrieve, but always dropping them into holes in the weeds or at the edges or next to other cover.

Where conditions allow for an exposed hook, I'll sometimes fish deeper water with a tube rigged with an internal jighead.

Weightless wacky rigged. Most time the strike will happen while the bait free falling, so just concentrate to see the line and set the hook tenderly. you don't need a very hard sweeping.

If u are not very familiar with wacky rigged, here is a video clip:

Enjoy it.

I think you can find a lot of stuff about senko. Very useful and no BS!

Enjoy it.

For me, during the summer time, I simply use stick bait in morning and dusk, and then switch to Tiki stick during mid day.
