well my year had its great points and some low points. i fished with the boys in orange placing second. whooo! we started the ycg at the weigh in..

the lil yamaha let go a piston a week later.. ok so i laid around for a month with out a boat then met a dude who was busting to go fishin on badin.. it turned out to be the COLDEST day of the winter...

once i got my lil ride back i started fishing in earnest..ok so it WAS a bit early-but the fish were biting..

ahh nothing says lovin it like your first decent fish of the year..

da frog ,it like the fish is "in der" somewheres..

ran into a pro bass guy on badin-how often do ya do that?-chris lane

i then slapped a REALLY low point. you'd never know it but i was a guest of the state just a few hours prior to this picture.

i was tring to get my stuff in order-moving out of my house- when i just had the urge to try something..**** it worked -thats chef sabo-

after several months of not being able to focus on fishing well enough to actually catch anything.. a new girl friend dragged me to the beach. after meeting you guys that was not a hard sell-

i got the mind blowing experiance of catching my first speck trout during that trip..

i came back from that trip with my groove back on.

ycg tourny

got to see badin at it's finest..

get off my bait- i hate wet gloves-

and finally probly one of the coolest pictures i have ever taken by accident..

i take a ton of picture every year. so it is no suprise from me huh..btw way i am going fishin tomarrow morning..

Nice year, mine gets summed up pretty quickly. Probably fished 15 times all year. A few good ones hear and there but nothing to jump up and down about. Hopefully ending the year fishing- going out in the morning after work.

Great pics zooker! I love the one with the DT that's almost as big as the bass! It reminds me of the time my wife caught a 3 inch bass on a hula popper.

My first full year of bass fishing was reasonably good. I didn't get out nearly as much as I wanted to (and I didn't get my boat until August), but I caught some nice bass from 3 to 6 lbs. Most importantly, I learned one he11 of a lot and am itching to get out next year.

I have joined a bass fishing club and will be entering some club tournaments to get experience. I am also considering entering the B.C. Open (the biggest bass tourny in B.C.) I am looking forward to the competition and being around so many people who know what they're doing!

Oh yes, the Shad colored DT. Catches just bout' everything, big fish, small fish, perch, pickerel, ect . . . I really love that lure in the DT-6 size.

great pics of the year zooker,
ya get all that hair cut or ya just pullin it back in a tail?
This year we fished more often and a much longer season than any of the last 10 years. Denny and me both had some big numbers a few days in april and may, but this fall we burned brookville lake slap up.
Mainly just following the creek channel on this 17 miles of fishing, and hitting points and coves that we adjacent to the channel.
The year ended up being a mix bag of lures that worked, hardly any action on the paca craw compared to going through 100's of em last year. Same with the frog, last year its all they wanted, this year we had 8-10 weeks of good action, considering a late march to late november season.
heres some falls pics

Thumbs up

Great summary, Zooker! Mine was fun as well, since I we relocated and started fishing new water. I just wish there were more lakes in North Georgia because I actually have more time to spend on the water ( I can go just about every evening for sure, also did that in Texas too!). If I hadn't of moved I may not have met you guys, and that was a good thing too!
