finesse, casting, flippin jigs?
can someone explain to me the difference between these? there doesnt seem to be much of a change in appearance... is all the difference in the weight?

Read through that post. That should help you out.
The only real difference in the shape of the head and in some cases weight. For example, Finesse jigs are usually 3/16 and 5/16 oz. While most other jigs come in 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, etc. BB
