Default Bass growth rate...

Obviously one fish doesn't help draw any iron-clad conclusions, but here is data for one tagged fish that I caught on our cabin lake about 4 weeks ago. The DNR did a study in 2007 where they tagged closed to 1,000 bass in the lake.

Here are the results from the fish I caught:

May 07, 2007 -- 11.3” long, 0lb 11oz
Jul 10, 2013 -- 15.5” long, 2lb 09oz
---------------------------------------
6+ years growth -- 4.2” 1lb 14oz
---------------------------------------

Seems like either a pretty slow growth rate, which wouldn't be at all surprising for MN, or else a fish that has stopped growing (length-wise anyway).
