Bait Monkey fodder
This is what happens when the lakes are iced over here and bass season doesn't open until May 28. This what I've acquired in 2011, as I didn't dig out the stuff I came into possession of during the last couple months of 2010 since I had it all organized and put in my tackle boxes already. Not pictured are the new Vendetta and Veritas rods I picked up and the new Revo Premier spinning reel, plus I have a few more items that should be arriving in the mail any time.
P.S. - Unlike Ryan, I won't be selling off any of it! |

Nope, it's not legal to intentionally fish for a given species here during its closed season, and we don't have any catch-and-release time before the seasons open. Pike and Walleye opener is May 14, bass is May 28. Iowa doesn't have seasons, though, so I'm headed down there to bass fish with my dad the weekend of May 21. Ice still isn't out on the lake where we have our cabin, so it's not like I'd be fishing yet anyway, although we're hoping for ice-out in the next week or so.

You're covered for a long time. Those triggerfish are fun to use. Played around with mine earler this year. Waiting for it to warm up more to use it again.

Not sure if you can tell from the pic (I know I can't), but the Havoc stuff is one 10-pack of Gary Klein's 3-inch "The Duece" (Watermelon Candy Red), one is an 8-pack of Bobby Lane's "Craw Fatty" (Black Blue Fleck) and the third one is an 8-pack of Iaconelli's "Devil Spear" (Watermelon Red Fleck).
