Default Bender and The Bruiser

Bender and I got to head out yesterday and catch a few fish at Lake Tom Bailey. I didn't keep count but I would guess we had around 15 between #1-3. I would consider this an awesome day on a state lake in MS. We started out the morning looking for a topwater bite, but I guess the fish were still hanging deep from all the tornadoes that came through the day before. And followed by a blue bird sky. The lake is loaded with more wood than Ron Jeremy and they didn't seem to be hanging out in there either. I put down the TW and picked up a new bait from Nemesis (Bender's bait company) and had a fish on the second cast pitching in the pads. I guess that 1 was lost because there was nothing else happening around the bank. We hit a few spots and got on a flat in about 8-10' of water and hammered on them for a few minutes. We fished the area a while and just sort of drifted back towards the ramp and picked up a few more fish. On top of managing a few fish, we got a pretty good sunburn and some good hours of laughing and fishing and managed in the catching department too. Hopefully Bender will get his net back up and post a few pictures from the lake though. And keep an eye out for the craws he has coming out. They made me a believer.

Sounds like a nice day guys! Must have been nice to get out on the water. I've got a couple nemesis baits too, can't wait to fish. The jigs seem top notch!

Can't wait to see that new bait and the pics!

I had a great time, probably my best day on any of the lakes around here. We did get baked by the sun pretty well though. Bubba is a great guy, wish he lived a little closer. I'm going to have to go try some lakes down by him soon. I'll get some pics uploaded as soon as I get internet back, I'm out on a lake now which is the only place my phone gets the net.

That is cool, guys! Bruiser and Bender? That sounds like a twin tag-team that has the power to scare fish into biting.

This was the second time I got to fish with Bender. And he is an awesome guy to fish with. No too many people will give you the reigns in their boat. Plus he has taught me quite a bit about what I am looking at on electronics. He will probably be pissed when he goes back to Bailey because I probably polka dotted the lake with way points. I have one spot in the back of my head where the opening in my hat was that must have a second degree burn where I kept my head down most of the day in the Lowrance.

Finally got the net back at home!
Here are some pics:

If these are to big, let me know and I'll shrink them some more.

Also, I think that is the earliest I have been up in a LONG time.

Great pics Bender, and I appreciate you not posting any pics of Curados ugly mug lol. Glad you guys had a good time. I agree with tavery, it would have been great if we all could have got together but it will happen one day.

Permission granted as long as it shows my good side and shows off that bait.
