Default Jrob, Pro Reel, Tavery5

Just got done with 4 days of fishing with a couple of great guys, We fished a number of different places and ended up catching a good number of fish. We caught 5 different types of fish during our weekend. We caught Small Mouth, Large Mouth, Walleye and Crappie, oh yeah I almost forgot, Pro Reel caught a nice sized Channel Cat on a lizard. Here are a couple of pics of the end of our trip that I took on the cell phone. I am sure the other guys will post up some pics as they have time.

All in all a terrific weekend.

I have to give a BIG thanks to Kevin and Tony. They made it their mission to put me on fish. The weather didn't cooperate at all but we made the best of it. I had a blast!! Thanks a million guys!!

I caught my first ever smallie and saw my first ever walleye on this trip. The smallie was one of those things that I can now scratch off my list, it wasn't a giant but I am very proud of it none the less. We fished a beautiful lake in central Kansas, Lake Wilson. It had super clear water and rocky bluffs. It was different than any other lake I'd ever fished. I would love to fish this lake again when the wind wasn't blowing 20-45 mph.

We also fished some private waters in and around Wichita. We caught a good many bass in the 2-4 lb range and caught several keeper crappie, plus the aforementioned smallie, walleye and catfish.

You couldn't ask for a couple of better guys to spend a few days fishing with! I hate that our original trip fell apart but I'm thankful that I got to spend some time fishing with Tony and Kevin. I hope that we can plan another trip in the future.

I don't have any fish pics but I do have some lake pics, I will post them here in a day or 2.

I fish Wilson at least once a month...wish I knew you guys were heading up this way.

Wilson is a real nice lake and when early summer hits, you can load the boat with smallies and stripers on topwater!

Tony and I are talking about going back to Wilson at the end of this month or in early June. I'm alos thinking about maybe going in just a couple of weeks during the full moon. Maybe we can meet up.

If you guys plan another long weekend trip to Wilson, let me know, I might be able to swing it. I would love to fish that lake again.
