My home town made the national news

Well it's not a good thing though. It's actually pretty sad. With all the chatter that is going on nobody really knows the truth. I've heard that there was a "hit list" and such and I've heard a name but don't know the kid (same age as me!). I did go to school with his daughter as well (Jim's). The scary part was my nephew who goes to the high school was on a bus as this all happened right in front of him. Pray for the families and for the town.

I hear ya. Everybody knows about the Va Tech shootings. The other day 2 tech students shot to death at his car in a parking lot at the Jefferson National Forest. No clues they figure just a random act. He was 19 and she was 18.

Man I remember when the most you had to worry about was getting a bloody nose from a fight in school. And all of us carried pocket knives, but even in a fight you never had to worry about anyone sticking anybody, just on honor. The older kids would even have their hunting rifles hanging in the back windows of the trucks in the parking lot. Of course back then our parents could still instill a strong healthy fear.
