Default 6/0 Falcon Weighted Hooks

I'd like to get some of these for Strike King's Shadalicious swimbaits. Anyone know where I can get these for a low price? Free shipping possibly? They don't need to be Falcon. Just weighted 6/0 EWG hooks.

Thanks

There you go. Tackle Warehouse will give you free shipping on orders over $50. I'm sure you wouldn't have a problem spending that though

Don't mean to highjack your post Jools, but I have something I'd like to add to it if you don't mind. Finding large 6/0 and 7/0 hooks for fishing large plastics is hard enough, and the weighted ones are even harder to find. However, yesterday I was at our Gander Mountain and came accross a product which is pretty nifty. I'm talking about a pinch on weight you can buy to add weight to your large worm hooks to use as a belly wighted hook. It is made by a company called D.O.A. You simply use plyers to pinch the weight to the shaft of your hook. It is designed in such a way which allows you to easily break it into a smaller pinch on weight which makes it very adaptable. Rubber core sinkers can also be used but the design of this weight add on is made exactly for this purpose and works much better. Also a neat item I found at Gander Mountain was a hook made by Gamakatsu called a G-MAG hook. It's BIG. In fact, it's size is listed as oversized. I'm guessing it must be about an 8/0. It's perfect for the large soft hollow body minnow baits now available in 5 inch or larger. Thought you might want to know about this hook.

Problem with hooks like the G-Mag is that the offset tears up a swimbait pretty good when you hook a fish. I have better luck with the spring type bait holders on the larger Owner hooks and I like the spear type baitholder even better since it tears the bait up less when a fish hits it. I use the LFT Swimbait hooks that have a very wide gap and the spear then super glue the spear when I insert it in the nose of the bait.

Real problem finding the LFT hooks now though. Some Wal-marts have them, mostly in the smaller 3/0 & 5/0 sizes. I like the 7/0 for the 4.5" swimbaits.

Thanks for the good idea. I'll go look for some pinch on weights.
