Broke my new rod.

Well, I've been using my newest spinning combo alot and I've had trouble with the two piece rod coming apart occasionally as I'm making a cast. Well the last time it did that it broke the rod right at the connection point.....I was able to clean the broken area with my pocket knife and refit the smaller rod section back in place, but about 6 casts later it broke again in the same area, and now there's no way of fitting the two back together, so I guess its junk and I'm back down to 2 rods.

I suppose I shouldn't expect much from a cheap combo but it was all I could afford. I've never had a problem such as that with any other 2 piece rod I've ever owned.....Anyone else ever had issues like that with a 2 pc rod?
