Terminator Pro's Top Secret Jig Reviews

The Terminator Pro's Top Secret Jig features a recessed line tie which helps prevent snags. This jig also comes with two rattles which hang loosely so as to create noise when pulling through thick cover. Plastic trailers can be secured to the hook thanks to a wire trailer keeper that extends beneath the main hook.

Its an ok jig, nothing special. The trouble I had was the weedguard fibers starting falling out the minute I started thinning it out. This is not good. It`s a good thing I only bought a couple to test out. I glued the fibers back in,and used it. Very strange skirt material,,I dont think it makes a difference, just strange. We shall see how it holds up. stay tuned.

I have used Terminator Jigs for about 6 years now. They have proven durable. They were a bit expensive when they first came out, but now they are about the same price point as any other good jig. I am not always a fan of rattles on jigs. I like the fact that, unlike some others, the Terminator rattle design allows you to remove the rattles and put them back on at any time. The bait keeper works well, however, most of the time I opt for pork as opposed to plastic. I like the design of the line tie. The hooks are great right out of the package. I wish that they made a larger jig than 5/8 ounce. That's the biggest I have, and can tell only a little dif between that and 1/2 ounce. They have proven good for casting and pitching. I don't flip, so I can't speak to that.

I haven't fished this exact jig but have used Terminator Jigs and spinnerbaits before. I do have an opinion based on the picture.

I prefer football jigs to the more multi-purpose head pictured.

I dont care for small rattles in any bait, but prefer large wooden sounding knocks.

I love the larger hookand apparently more upright angle.

I love the displayed color, which I call Brown craw.

The weed guard is a bit excessive.

I fish deep clear California Lakes and This isnt a perfect jig.

I like a local brand called Berserkbaits.

I like sizes in excess of 3/4 oz.
