Gamakatsu Skip Gap Hooks Reviews
The Skip Gap Worm Hook was designed to allow anglers to skip and pitch their Texas-rigged baits without having the bait slide down the hook's offset. This is a common problem when skipping tubes and worms under docks, and the Skip Gap Hook promises to help ease that annoyance and let you spend more time skipping your baits worry-free.

First off to me hands down Gamakatsu are the best hooks out there. The skip gap hook are no different. I use them when I fish with tubes but can definitely be used for many other applications.
Hooks do what they say, bait doesnt slide on them, they are a little on the pricey side though.I do have trouble with the hook bend opening after a fish or two, maybe i set the hook to hard.I usually have 14 lb test spooled
Due to the price was not going to try but took a few packs to see what all the fuss was about. As a 100% die hard tube skipper, flipping and drop shot angler – what can I can I love it. The bait stays in place for skipping and I think even improves the skipping action. The bait does not slide up or down the hook so when you get a good skip; you don’t have to wonder if the tube is inverted etc. Con would be retailers need more selection so I don’t have to order off line. (A big problem living in Las Vegas and the dessert, not much pass the eye candy with the local Bass Pro etc.) And do something about the price. Only hook I use now.

Great hook! Doesn't let the plastic slip down to the barb and throw the hook. I've lost big bass with other brands of offset hooks.
i just bought these hooks today.
they seem pretty good but were a little on the expensive side.
coyote bait and tackle only carried one size and they were pretty large.
they are easy to use and very durable.
it was easy to rig my plastics on and i would defiantly recommend them.
as of this moment i see no cons other than the price.

I feel that this is a quality hook. I use these for toads and plastics over 6" in length. I feel that they are a little over priced.
With this hook you don't need superglue to hold the bait on. I use it for almost all plastics, from worms to toads. Haven't tried it for skipping yet although I am sure it would serve the purpose well. No con's as of yet.
