The FREEZE is here

Well was driving in to work this am and the pond in my neighborhood was frozen over :P, and all the bigger bodies of water have at least 1/2 ice on them :P Guess I better start planning my powerplant lake fishing, or going south. ??? Anyway the real frustrations are just beginning without any fishing availble :P Hope everyone else isn't having this same thing yet, and can fish for awhile yet

there are calling for snow here sunday night.-hmmm fishing monday maybe-they said that it is going to snow clear in to ga. anit seen ice on lakes yet . but 1 thing i will say is the water temp is going to take a dive.

It got down to 12 degrees last night in nashville, TN. It was snowing on me this morning but I guess we're lucky since I have only seen our lakes freeze over once.

i wont ever have 2 worry about ponds freezing ;D although the high for monday is suposed 2 be only in the 20's.w/ the low in the teens..............burrrrrrr. but no snow or anything like that so the fishin will still be good

The main problem here is that when it gets below 60 then Its cold.
Zooker, theres no need to fish in cooler conditions, the fish ain't gonna bite.
Our first club tournament will be in June and we fish through Sept. 9:00 -3:00.

back in WV for X-mas my favorite fishing buddy wont go. hes 56 and thinks its to cold. BA HUMBUG. I'd go anyway. The only time its to cold is when your rod tip ices up, the wind is still my biggest enemy!

IMO it's too cold when the hole you drilled freezes 1/2"before you can drop your line in.\

all the small ponds around here are iced over.won't be long now.tomorrow i fire up the auger to make sure it works.if it stays this cold we'll be ice fishing before the new year.

It actually got warmer in florida i got to wear shorts with a short sleeve shirt to school today. lol and rob thats what snow looks like it put the picture back in the ole nogin. yeah and this is my favorite time of the year the time i get to through my poper. i hope i can break my record this year and catch a 15 and 2 ten plus fish. lol ok thats enouph rubbing in for one day.

Nothing freezes here except the mud puddles. This afternoon it was a balmy 65 degrees.

Well woke up with 1/2"-1" of snow on the ground with 17 degree temps, with wind chill at 0 degrees :P :P :P :P :P :P I'm already jones'n for some fishing, and the first day of winter isn't until Dec 21st :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

And if knew how to send it, for all of you warm weather guys, I send you all this cold weather and snow and ICE for awhile, then you could be needing some cheese to go with your WHINE But I guess I'll just either deal with it, or come south, not much else I can do. Because mother nature is one tough Lady during this time of year, wish I could get her drunk, and take advantage of her, by sending the weather in reverse patterns for just 1 year. I would LMAO at those in FL/TX/SO CAL/etc.. as they started driving on the snow . OH well, enough crying, it's just a dream anyway :-[

well its suposed to get cold 2nite. i messed up on the highs in the 20's and lows in the teens. really its going to be highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's.w/ wind chill in the teens...........................still really cold.
