Moderate Action rods?

I was looking at the Falcon Bucoo Micro Guide Casting rods, specifically the 7' Medium, Moderate Action. What techniques/lures work best or do you prefer with a moderate action rod?

Bucoo rods are my favorite. The moderate action is what I use for crankbaits.

Like lash said, a moderate action rod, or in your case the 7' Medium Power Moderate Action Bucoo would be ideal for crankbaits up to about 8-10' deep. If you throw a bigger deep diver on this rod, it will probably feel underpowered when cranking it in.

Generally, a moderate action rod spreads the load on the rod blank over a longer section of the rods length. This explains it pretty well.

Just about ideal for bandit 200-300,rc 1.5-3,rattletraps small to mid size crankbaits,even flukes,some open water top water.

As has been stated, Moderate action rods = cranks, and I also use them for spinner biats, just seems to work for me better than a fast or even moderate fast actions rod.

I'd say ideal for small to midsized crankbaits. For larger crankbaits and deep divers I prefer a MH/Mod rod.

I go with the rest. Pretty much anything with a treble like a less that 8-10' crankbait less than 1/2 oz, jerkbaits, top water, small willow spinners and small buzz baits. Pretty wide array that can be handled with it.

I just bought this rod, I have played with it a little, and have it paired with a Curado 50E, gonna be my shallow crankbait rod. I have also played with pitching smaller finesse type jigs with it, and it seems like it would have enough backbone in light cover areas.

You could also throw in other treble lures like topwater and possibly hard jerk/slash baits like the xrap.

Some people also like a mod or mod/fast action in a heavy flipping stick. They feel it helps get the fish turned and heading up out of the cover. Of course that wouldn't apply in this case. Any trebel hook lure short of the deepest divers should fish fine on the rod you have.
