Lowrance X-135 sonar noise
To Clint & Fellow Depth Finder Experts,
I have a Lowrance X-135 and I can really hear the transducer sending out its signals from the casting deck. It's a noticeable click click click type noise. Is this normal? It's a brand new unit. I couldn't hear my old unit which was a dinosaur, so maybe it's normal and just cause of the power of the unit. What do you think> |

I got a new Humminbird 565 last year and noticed the same thing with it. Â*I think it is normal. It works perfectly fine.

I have a buddy whose does that. Â*When I go with him I am always stuck on the back deck right above his transducer and it bugs the crap out of me.

It is normal, although some transducers are worse than others.
