i was just thinkin :-/ ;D if a treble hook could be used for a trailor hook? obviously not around weeds, but in open water. im not even sure why someone would use on for it? i was just wonderin off again, and it popped in my head. i dont think there are any advantages, are there? anyways, just a thought.

i dont even think it is an advantige at all the point of a trailor is to get those short strikers and a treble dont have a very long shank so whats the point if you really arent gaining anything.

Yes, and it works great on buzzbaits, of course like you guys said it doesnt work in the thick stuff.

To put it bluntly ..it is aggravating.. I think every fisherman has 'tinkered" with the baits trying to tweek them or take an advantage.. I have seen trebs used in worming too, but all my experience with them is
always getting hung up :

I posted this awhile back. Like Cullin said they work great on buzzbaits. You just got to make sure when you put the treble on that the one point is up instead of down.
