I would try a firetiger spinnerbait....... Anything that displaces water would be a good bet...

Stick to targeting cover..they will be hugging anything , like a dock pole, docks, concrete bridges, or trees etc |

Use things that make a lot of vibrations and/or noise, and fish close to cover

My #1 muddy water bait is a spinnerbait with a big, single Colorado blade. It puts out a lot more vibration than a double willow or tandem setup.

Practice pitching and flipping, because you'll be doing a lot of that all along the laydowns, and if there is any vegetation. The fish are "TIGHT" to cover. I've had more success on tubes, or lizards, and hardly any success with jigs. Cranks will work if being bumped into the cover. Lizards |
