Lizards, I know how a good fisherman doesn't need to brag so I am bragging . ;D I fished a tournament today that had 31 boats. I won it with only 4 fish 17.08 lbs for total weight.Second place had 5 fish 14.11 lbs. Gene larew craw on a 1/2oz. Jig in 7-9 ft. of water . I didn't get only 4 bites late in the day after I finally found them but they were enough. ;D Sorry I just couldn't help myself. ;D P N J

Even though this post is'nt directed at me, Congrats! That is awsome. I won one like that,I got to the weight in and only had 4. Won it by over 3 pounds. I had been thinking that I s*cked that day and "BAM",I win!

Flippin, Thanks, it sounds like I was a rerun episode except I didn't win by 3lbs. I really fished hard all day and thought I sucked for not boating 5 fish. I did not take any fish off from the 3 spots I found them two days before. I remembered they were letting water out of the lake , you launched in a canal joining 2 lakes, and there was good current flowing into the lake I chose to fish.At a last attempt , I fished around a small island that the outlet flowed near and caught the 4 fish. Had I not payed attention to the current , I would most likely been fishless as many boats were. Zooker, I will pass on the phone bill. ;D P N J

Haaaaaaaaa, You know this site helps me alot, once you wade through the normal best this and best that postings and sift out the little things here and there to store in your memory bank for when you can use them.It doesn't make me any better than anyone else here. JackL, How in the world did you know ?Land Taxes, well, I had my heart set on a new Glass rod for rattle traps, but I guess it ain't going to happen until I save up from the paychecks each week.P N J

Way to go PNJ, congrats to you. I didn't have as much luck in my tourney last saturday. As zooker mentioned, I have never been back boated like it from anyone, but oh well. Hope you keep winning, at least that way the wife won't ever complain about the baits, and equipment you need 8)
